It is essential that all stuents know what is required of them before they enter into a Ultimate Taekwondo Kup Grading. Featured in this section is a series of videos and images covering the whole of the syllabus along with the written documentation to go along side this.

Club gradings are held regularly but students have to wait a period of at least 3 months between them. Students perform patterns, basic movements, demonstrate kicking/blocking/striking, self defence, 1-step set sparring, sparring and destruction. They have to be successful in all aspects to pass the grading. The examinations are conducted by the Club's Chief Instructor - Kathy Hook.

As students reach the grade of black tag (1st Kup) they have to reach the required standard before being recommended for the BTCB Dan Gradings. These gradings are held 3 times a year and candidates have to perform in front of a panel of high grades, including Chief Examiner and BTCB President Dr Grand Master Park Soo Nam 9th Dan. The commitment and dedication is required before the Club Instructors recommend students for the Dan Gradings.
