Ultimate Taekwondo Sections - Poomsae

Poomsae (or Patterns) are a series of movements linked together depicting attacking and defensive moves - blocks, kicks, strikes ect and demonstrate focus, power, balance and targeting. They start off very basic for beginners but increase drastically in complexity and content as students progress through the grades.
Patterns are performed at Grading Examinations to assess improvement and standard and in addition there are competitions dedicated to the performance of Poomsae.
