Ultimate Taekwondo was founded in 1996 by the Countries first female 6th Dan and former Olympian Kathy Hook in the Doncaster area. Over the Years Ultimate Taekwondo has focussed on all aspects of Taekwondo and has developed and grown into a good all-round Club. The Doncaster branch has opened its full-time training centre THE DEN and continues to be run by Kathy and her husband Dave (6th Dan/International Referee).

In addition to the Doncaster branch Ultimate has a group in Nottingham run by Instructors Michelle Priestley and Gary Fletcher and another full-time training facility in Liverpool run by Instructors Peter and Lisa Hankin with the assistance of Mohammed Shaker (6th Dan/International Referee).

The Club is proud to be home to a number of British Champions, British Team Members (both Sparring and Poomsae), International Referees, National Referees and a host of Judges.

Team Ultimate are the reigning 1st place Team from last years British Championships and finished as the highest Club side in the 2009 British International Open Championships.
